 Flexible, Easy-to-Use Answerback Exchange in Real Time

EasyLink's RealTelex is a PC software package running on Windows. It provides an end-to-end real-time telex connection where the sender is in direct contact with the receiver. It also offers store-and-forward messaging to telex and fax receivers. Instead of maintaining hard-wired lines, you can leverage dial-in or Internet access to enjoy significant cost savings.
If RealTelex is required to support inbound telex, a dedicated telex number (as allocated to a specific user) will be provided.

 Real time

While connecting directly to the receiving party, RealTelex provides a degree of user choice within the real-time portion of its service offering. Sending and receiving telexes can be viewed as separate functions.

 Store and forward

RealTelex store-and-forward facilities include multi-address, same-number message batching, answerback verification, and delivery of either telex or text-to-fax messages.
RealTelex automatically processes delivery status reports for messages submitted to the store-and-forward service. These can be retrieved manually or with a user-defined auto scheduler.
