As the volume of telex traffic declines, many administrations have decided that telex and the maintenance of a telex network are no longer part of their core business. Some players have already exited and many others are looking to outsource. EasyLink's Outsourced Telex service provides you with a way of turning your declining telex business into a profit centre. You can continue to sell telex services while reducing your costs.

EasyLink offers four outsourced telex opportunities. Your choice of solution will depend on volume, interconnect agreements, number of users, number of private telex lines (PTLs) or dial-up connections, and your total number of telex minutes.



 

 Network Consolidation Agreement

The quickest, easiest way to start enjoying the benefits of lower settlement rates is to use EasyLink's international telex network. We can use your existing connection, or a new connection, to link our facility directly to your telex switching facility.


 EasyLink Telex Switch

We can provide you with a new telex switch, connected to the rest of the world via the EasyLink telex switch and your existing interconnections. You continue to control your telex numbering plan, and simply replace your old equipment with the new EasyLink switch.

 EasyLink Relay Server

If you have low volumes of telex traffic but do not want to take advantage of a new telex switch, your subscribers can access the EasyLink switch using a local relay server supplied by us.

 EasyLink RealTelex

We can supply all your subscribers with our PC-based RealTelex software solution, which they can use to send and receive telex messages as a replacement to their on-premises telex equipment. This will enable you to cut your losses and focus on more lucrative service offerings.
